The easiest way to avoid virus without AntiVirus on Windows (Part 2)

Second Lesson :

On lesson 1 we studied how to block virus spread with limited user account. There are another way to avoid virus , as we know that windows is user friendly. They (microsoft) makes windows easy to use. Example without open or click on external drive the program inside of external drive (flash disk, external drive, memory card, etc). Very easy to use, so just plug the external drive and automatically run.
In other side consequences of user friendly become virus friendly too :-D, Can you imagine if the inside of flash disk is virus ? :d, so virus become automatically run too.
To avoid automatically run, we can do this techniques.

Click Start -> Run -> type gpedit.msc


Click "User Configuration" -> Administrative Template -> System
And then click on Right side double click on "Turn off Autoplay"



After we do this trick windows will not execute inside of flash disk automatically.

Many of our customer asking for how to netralize the virus without AntiVirus program.
Some of us not 24 hours connected to internet so it's difficult to update the AntiVirus program.
And mostly virus is from USB flash disk, external disk, cd, file sharing, etc.



This lesson i split become 10 lesson :-D , to avoid virus.

First lesson :


Mostly people login to windows with administrator rule. Have u ask to your self, why you login with administrator rule ? Some of them don't realize because when they bought laptop or PC with OEM windows, all is pre-installed. They just log-in and use the laptop :-D.


Just imagine if we do daily activity (write letter, presentation, email, read data, open data, see movie, play song) with administrator rule :D, it's same with make slice of papper with giant scissor :-DDD, that's the way virus works. Mostly virus spread on data exchange (not all virus).
So my advice using user rule for daily works, using only adminstrator rule only for install new program, as we know not everyday we install new program or application ? YESS or YESS :D





Here step by step to create user account :


Go to control panel -> User Account







Click Create New Account







Pick Account Type -> LIMITED and Click Create Account







After that logout and never login using administrator rule, and don't forget to move all your data to user -> Document's.







In case there are virus on your data only infect the specific user profile, not the administrator, just move your data on user profile and delete the profile. Windows system is clean now.
